Chabad has an awesome restaurant (and a cool chabad house) in Athens (Rated Number 2 of all restaurants in Athens on TA).
They also ship to all islands which you can warm up in your hotel. The food is awesome as as well!
Find them on facebook or on their website

Zaggurus TR: zagguru's

Sam28 TR Santorini : Sam28's

Athens:
Hotels
Hotel Grande Bretagne (Starwood)
King George Palace  (Starwood)
Both hotel's are right near each other, grand Bretagne is a little more upscale.
Both are walking distance to Chabad (Around 10 min) and to most of the action in Athens.
Other hotel's are a little further out of all the action.

Stuff to do
GOSTIJO kosher restaurant (They have a small grocery where you can get a variety of Israeli products) [See above]
Acropolis (Akropolis) and the Acropolis (Akropolis) Museum
Anafiotika (old town with some shopping)
Plaka
Monastiraki
Panathenaic Stadium (Panathinaiko Stadio) first modern Olympics game.
Day trip to Delphi
Water-skiing in the Aegean Sea

What to do

Santorini:
Hotels
There are only two options which take points.
1. Vedema, this hotel is in Megalochori, it is a little off the path (Not near the water) and you don't get the views you would expect in Santorini. (Not a great option, but if you want to stay with points, it is a nice hotel)
2. Mystique, rated as one of the best Starwood hotels in the world. Availability is almost impossible, because they only have 27 rooms. Never mind the shocking 70K Starwood points a night in high season.

Stuff to do
Kamari Beach, there is a cliff there which has a nice jump into the ocean. (Please be careful!)
Red Beach
Hiking Trail Fira - Oia (You can take a Donkey which is quite freaky, or take a tram)
Sunset in Oia (A must do, to get away from the crowds go to Sun Spirit, it is near the windmill and has great views and not packed. They only serve drinks.)
Santorini Volcano, Hot Springs.
Rent a ATV go around the island (At your own risk, the drivers in Santorini are crazy!)
Highest point of the island near the town of Prygos. Awesome panoramic views of the whole island.

Rhodes
Hotels
Sheraton Rhodes, large resort very centrally located. nice pools.

No

There's a place which calls itself Kosher but I'm not 100% sure about its legitimacy. It's open during the season and might be closed by now.

I would recommend King George over Grand Bretagne. We stayed in the King George and it was magnificent. the Grand Bretagne is supposed to have smaller rooms. Staying at the king George allows you to use all the amenities of the Grand Bretagne.

We'll be in Athens for 3 nights including the jewish sabbath, before driving up to Meteora for a few days.
We were planning on finding an Airbnb close to the Chabad, but I don't see any attractive locations, and the Chabad itself is pricey for the sabbath meals, so we may just do it on our own.

Any recommondations for other areas in Athens that's worth staying at due to it's location/beauty?

I stayed at an Airbnb apartment very close to Chabad, I think it was called Boutique Athens; reasonable price and the apartment was nice. I went to the meals at Chabad and they were very nice, although it's a little expensive it was a great atmosphere and nice to meet many other Jews from around the world.

Thx for that. Looking at the map, we may stay closer to the National Park, and just walk to Chabad.

Anyone taken trains to Meteora? Ideas on where to find the best prices?

Just a word of advice, the printed maps are not 100% accurate and there are many small little streets so it's really easy to get lost (especially on Shabbat). Enjoy Greece though it's beautiful!

[about mateora you should ask your LOR about where not/to go]

Just to note that the meals at Chabad are pretty high quality and service like a real restaurant.

Thx.
Are the monestaries still active?

I'd love to eat at Chabad, but with the kids, it gets pricey.
I may start a Gofundme campaign, in which case, I'll post it here.

Anyone have experience whether the train prices drop closer in? The website that @Emkay posted said it did a month out, but I haven't seen anything yet.

I am planning a trip to Athens and Santorini, and would like some advice. I will arrive Monday at eleven a.m. and would like to spend the day touring ancient athens. Any advice as to a good tour guide? I will be staying at the Grand Bretagne - which sounds to be the best option? Also, can I rely on the Chabad restaurant or should i bring POM meals?

Next, I will be flying to santorini tuesday morning - still trying to figure out a cheap option to get there - would appreciate help on that. I will be staying at Katikies - has anyone been there? Anything I should know about? Will they warm up the POM meals for me? I will be there for two days - any itinerary suggestions?

Thanks

Seems like the transit to the city from the airport costs 10 euro per person.
Any ideas how to do it at a cheaper rate for a party of 5?
