There are also grandfathered business plans that offer unl global data.

and they cant be gotten anylonger u can only get limited plans nothing unlimited any longer

On a side note, on my gov plan, which I have unlimited global data, I had added the tethering for $10, but that isn't included in the unlimited. I found out the hard way whe I got an email alert from verizon that my roaming charges exceeded $1000! Luckily that on verizon its easy to add a feature and backdate, so I added the tethering package for $75 150mb and that cleared my overage.
So whoever adds this line should check it out first about tethering. Understandingly ona phone where there's a workaround it isn't an issue...

so thats why u need an app which is called Tether.com (this one i tried there is other ones too) and it will make the network think its not tethered!!!! i used it myself on multiple occasions in airports all over the world
