points can be used for the AF.

Statement credits: If you have the exact number of points or more required to wipe away a charge, you can wipe away the entire charge.  If you have fewer than the exact number of points, you can only redeem in 2500 point/$25 increments.

Example: If you have an $87 charge, and 9000 points, you can wipe away the entire $87 charge.  If, however, you only have 8000 points, you can only wipe away $75 worth of the $87 charge (2500 point/$25 increments x 3).

Yes, although not nearly as good as Amex
It means it covers collision on rental cars.
i thought everyone used sapphire?

is that the same as Hertz's LDW?

No. Credit cards covers CDW not LDW.
No its batter
it's 2 different things entirely, one isn't "better" than the other.

It is the same thing. From any random CC T&C: The company may refer to the collision damage waiver as CDW or LDW in their contract or when speaking with you.....Make sure you decline the company's CDW/LDW option as mentioned above...

That is incorrect.

Credit cards only cover damage that happens to YOUR car, it does not cover damage that you do to ANOTHER vehicle. If you want to be covered for damages that you may cause to another vehicle, you need to have liability - either through your own insurance policy or through buying it from the rental company.

Looks like Barclay has Secondary insurance. How much better is it to use a card that has Primary?

If there's significant damage its very worth it as you don't need to involve your own insurance and have your rates raised

I have 6288 Arrival plus miles. I can redeem it for any travel worth up to $50 only or $62.88? Has to be for before tax?

Don't know if I can find refundable room for $62.88.

She has 7228 Arrival miles. Same thing here? Good for any travel worth $72.28?

You can use it for part of a travel purchase doesn't have to be for whole purchase

For my 6288 A+ miles, I can  redeem for some refundable room for $62.88 and for wife's 7228 miles, I can redeem for $72.28? Bit confused!

If I book a room for those miles ,  it has to be $62.88 and $72.28 before tax and fees?

I just want to try to redeem  whatever miles I have now before I cancel this card and shred it.

Have to try to find some cheap refundable super 8 motel  I guess.

I don't have this card but my brain is telling me that you can book a $200 room or whatever and use your available points, in whatever increments they allow redemptions, to pay for part of it, and the rest in cash. Then cancel if it "doesn't work out".
