I logged in to my wife's arrival account today and saw her card was closed as well and they said that they closed it as it hadn't been used in 5+ months. The strange thing is it was closed the same day that my account was closed. Anyone have this happen to them?

This is becoming more and more common with banks.... It's absolutely insane. BTW did you ever find out why they closed them?

Nope. They closed my wife's card too. She was au on mine and had her own. Opened cfpb complaint and they gave me same bs about account usage Which is bs cuz her card had almost no use in months.

I downgraded to a no AF card probably a year ago already & they're still sending me emails reminding me to activate it. Go figure

Why don't you activate it? Unless you enjoy receiving annoying emails.

Its the arrival card. I'm just too busy with far more valuable cards.

60 days from AF was yesterday. The rep insists that there's no way for her to downgrade and reverse the fee. Is that true? (I'd rather not HUCA because the card's not in my name).

Is there a longer deadline for cancelling?

AFAIK Barclays is 60 days for an af refund
