points can be used for the AF.

Statement credits: If you have the exact number of points or more required to wipe away a charge, you can wipe away the entire charge.  If you have fewer than the exact number of points, you can only redeem in 2500 point/$25 increments.

Example: If you have an $87 charge, and 9000 points, you can wipe away the entire $87 charge.  If, however, you only have 8000 points, you can only wipe away $75 worth of the $87 charge (2500 point/$25 increments x 3).

I applied for 3 different barclaycards, 2 were approved and 1 shows as pending online but recon says they have no record at all of that application. Does that happen and is there anything to do?

yes

So lets say I close my last remaining Barclay card, the Lufthansa Miles & More - how long do you suggest I wait before applying for the Arrival + again?

So why would you need delta GC's? Why not just use it to book your flight and then refund it?

You need the charge to post to use the points to offset it. After you do that if you cancel a travel charge they will not clawback the credit.

Did you recently have and close that product? Barclays recently told me that they rejected an application because I had recently had the card. They never ran the credit for it. I was also approved for 2 other cards at the same time.

When you book refundable, it's a real refund.

When did redemption refund go down to 5% from 10%?
Anyone know what the transaction fee is on the intro BT 0% offer?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Over a year ago iirc. 3% iirc.

Remember, if you do a BT, DO NOT swipe your card anywhere, as you'll be charged interest on the full balance.

Any recent DP's if this is still the case?
