points can be used for the AF.

Statement credits: If you have the exact number of points or more required to wipe away a charge, you can wipe away the entire charge.  If you have fewer than the exact number of points, you can only redeem in 2500 point/$25 increments.

Example: If you have an $87 charge, and 9000 points, you can wipe away the entire $87 charge.  If, however, you only have 8000 points, you can only wipe away $75 worth of the $87 charge (2500 point/$25 increments x 3).

The 50k Alaska offer that was around a few months ago had a $100 statement credit?
No, I signed up for the 25k offer and after you buy a ticket they add a $100 statement credit, so that's why I made the reservation on Alaska.
As a side benefit I was able to redeem my Arrival points so I killed 2 birds in one shot :)
I try my best :-\

So you get a $100 statement credit on the Alaska card even if you paid with the Arrival?

You lost me. Why did you have to book a ticket to get that offer, why not just apply through that link?

That link is a copy of the offer link they send you after making a booking, when I applied it wasn't in the WIKI.

Southwest is a breeze.
You can cancel online after you redeem the miles.

In my experience, the business class tickets said fully refundable.

Southwest will credit automatically. When you cancel there'll be an option to save it as credit toward a future flight or refund. It takes a couple of days for the refund to post.

I just went thru the process and redeemed for travel, but the credit never posted to my account. How long does it typically take? It does say completed by rewards history.

FYI The is a AFAIK unpublished limit of 200k point per redemption. (and once you redeem toward a purchase you can't redeem again on that purchase even if the first redemption didn't cover the whole purchase).
