I'm looking for a good mechanic in Brooklyn. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic?

i find Asher on 16th ave and 39th st to be very reliable (though moody)

Nope. It's Eli who used to be at 2 in 1 on Coney Island Avenue. They all split up. He opened up on 15th, L and Locust. REALLY nice guy. knows his stuff, very reasonable and totally honest.

My FIL has been using Tony at TJ's auto repair on Mcdonald betwean N&O for 30 years. I take my car there for everythign. He's dead honest, really nice and has great prices. He knows me personally so you can tell him I sent you. PM me for my personal info if you go.

I used a guy named Lenny. 718-342-7883. His shop is in Brooklyn, I forgot where. I live in Queens and he picked up my car, repaired it, and dropped it off. He did the same for my mom who lives in Queens. Great job, honest, and waved those "fees"

He worked on my car this Friday and I'm very happy with him. He seems honest and his fees are modest.

I've used them for the last 4 years, and I especially liked the fact that they're open 24 hrs. But I've grown tired of them and their shtick by now, which is why I started this thread.
