1. We were not there Shabbos, but from what I witnessed, Casa has a more Jewish infrastructure, so I assume its easier there, if you can have a host.  But I dont have any info. There is a chabad rabbi. There is also Rav Pinto, try to find his circles info.  Sorry I dont have it.

2. Rabat, is a regular modern city, nothing major. Fez is a must, both from tourist point, plus from spiritual points the Jewish cemetery.  Casa has modern jewish infrastructure, but nothing major from historical points, so only if you have time. Marrakesh is a must the Medina and Jewish cemetery.
Essaouira has a Jewish cemetery, so also if you have time it's good to do it. Agadir I heard it's also nice, I wasn't there yet. Than there is a lot of Kivrei Tzadikim in small cities & villages.

3. The kosher industry needs improvement, but there is many restaurants who claim they are Kosher, but dont have yet a hechsher. Ask your LOR. I brought all food which I needed plus more, just in case.... Royal air maroc let you check in 2 luggage free. So no problem.

4. I rented a car, I dont think it came out cheaper had I taken a driver and paid per day. Public transportation is very convenient there and affordable. So it really depends on you.
does anyone have a list of the kevruim especially in the small cities?

RABAT, Aug 2 (Reuters) - Morocco will lengthen its night curfew, starting two hours earlier at 9 p.m. (2000 GMT) from Tuesday, as it tightens restrictions to counter a surge in coronavirus infections, the government said on Monday.

The business and tourist hubs of Casablanca, Agadir and Marakech will be closed except to holders of the vaccine pass or those on necessary travel, the government said in a statement.

The move is expected to hurt tourism business which pinned hopes on the summer season to attract national tourists after travel receipts dropped 70% in the first half this year

Can anyone answer asap I'm looking to go today and I'm not sure if to cancel asap

Looking to plan a week in Morocco.... Landing Marrakech, Leaving Casablanca

1) Best easiest place for Shabbos?
2) Which cities are a must? (Marrakech, Fez, Casablanca, Rabat etc)
3) Do I have to bring food or can I get kosher in most of the above cities
4) Rent a car for the whole time? or very difficult drive? (I understand that driving in Marrakech is almost impossible)

TY!

Trying to redo my itinerary... Will arrive Sunday noon. Leaving Wed late late night
Sun-Mon Marrakech
Tue- Fez (long drive)
Wed- Casablanca.
Is there any kosher food (ready or perishables)?
Is driving doable or very difficult (parking etc)? Would ideally like to rent by airport in Marrakech and return in Casablanca.....

Thank You

Way up the thread - closer to the beginning - someone brought it up.
It was some religious person if I remember correctly, but no hechsher.

Had to cancel a trip so didn’t ended up using him, but was planning on using a driver through Rafi Elmaleh (rafitour@yahoo.fr or +212 661-312673). Seems to have good reviews. I coordinated with him in WhatsApp.
