Casablanca is a regular city.

Go to Marrakesh (can arrange kosher food) & Fez to experience unique cities

Take a guide & get to know the berber people in the Atlas mountains
Noting is regular in Morocco. Marrakesh is so touristy, it takes away part of the fun. If I had a choice to do one city, obviously I would choose marrakesh, but Casablanca deff was enjoyable, and got the sense of their culture in a real way more then just the tourist way.
I stayed in Casablanca for shabbos at a shabbos friendly hotel. I got placed for meals by contacting a rabbi . I don’t have his contact. Sry. It seemed like the kosher restaurants didn’t have he Best hechsher but I don’t know. I brought my own food. Shabbos we ate by people who got their meats shipped in from Canada. Really felt a lot of their culture from being in Casablanca for Shabbos. I don’t think marrakesh has a large orthodox community, so for shabbos it would probably be better to to Casablanca either way.

I am thinking of going to Morocco for Chanuka.
What are the best cities to visit and how long should we spend in each?
How's the weather end of December?  Is it too cold for swimming in the ocean?
Anyone that can PM me Rabbis info and Kosher food/Shabbos info?
Thanks!

Skip it. Has nothing over the others except maybe shabbos.

Not much in Casa besides for the beautiful mosque. But it's probably a good bet over shabbos with Chabad rabbis and shuls

Supposedly there is a very kosher non-hechshered place to eat in Marrakech.
Search the net, you'll find it.

I just looked it up and it seems that besides the obviously shorter days, the weather might be quite cold and a decent chance to rain.
Also, the market places and other attractions that tourists love, will be way less active, if at all.

I spoke to the owners and it really didn't seem "very kosher".

Okay, thanks for that.
You remember their name?
Just making sure it's the same.

I'm thinking of going to Morocco on chanukah. Should we do 1 day in fez 3 days in Marrakesh (includes a shabbos). Was wondering if it worth taking the 3 day desert tour from fez to Marrakesh or is it a little to much driving.

Or do one day fez, one day menkes then fly to Marrakesh. Then do a 2 day dessert tour from Marrakesh. Then 3 days in Marrakesh.

Remember that at that time of the year, especially if not chassidic you have barely daylight remaining.

Because of lighting the menorah or there is not enough time to tour?

Two young ladies were brutally murdered in what seems like a terrorist attack.
In Imlil, at the foot of the Atlas range and close to Marrakech.
(I was there)

Found a picture I toke, without me on it.
It's around there it happened.
This is a Shrine, which the Muslims consider holy, although according to their own religion it may not be holy...
