Finally going to Marrakesh.
Anyone know the Kosher food situation?
I can accept PM's.

Thanks!

If I recall correctly, there is a family that arranges kind of a kosher catering.
No hechsher though.

It was somewhere on this topic I the very early posts, if I recall correctly.
I personally don't rely on a commercial place without hechsher.
(That is to say, if I'd be invited to those people's private homes for free, that's something else)

Is there a resort or hotel (tourist attraction) that was paid for by American Express? I remember hearing something along those lines but I can’t find anything online....

i was just at the Aben Danan Synagogue in Fez and there’s a plaque that says the renovations were sponsored by American Express charity fund, but I do remember reading about other things I just can remember off hand, maybe someone else knows....

I can use some trip planning help:

1) Can anyone recommend a great Riad they stayed out? It seems there are dozens of them with stellar review scores which makes me kind of suspect they are real reviews).
2) My wife will be B"H is her 7th month so I am looking for tours and activities that aren't too strenuous. Can anyone recommend?
3) Does anyone have contact info for a well priced guide that can give us private tours at our pace?
4) Can anyone PM with info for a local Rabbi who knows the Kosher food situation in Marrakesh?

Thanks all!

When workforce is cheap, the service is usually better.
If hotels.com or booking.com and other sites that only allow paying customers to review, and there are many reviews, you can rely on it.

Unless you are totally unaware of your surroundings and very bad at orientation, you should manage without guide.
Do a little reading before.
There are nice things to see in the city itself = walking distance.

Strange, I'm not seeing it on their site. Check hotels.com et al, that's how I booked it.

Looks great. Not available for one of my nights  :(
I guess I'll just book something in a good location that has over a 9.5 review from 100 people or more.

I may not need a guide to get to the souk and back but I do want someone to take us to all the sites and give us the cultural and historical background. Without it, you dont know what you are looking at.

I also want to take a couple of half day/full day trips to other cities, the Berber villages, the  Atlas mountains, etc' and would be happy if someone can recommend a guide/company they were happy with.

Thanks!
