Even worse
Damn Citi fraud. Would of had my spending done by first statement if not for them
It's really not a big deal. The AF posts a day before your 1st statement closes, you can complete the spend before the 2nd statement and still have 6 days to get the AF refunded.
+1
Worked for me. Just do that and you'll still have 2-3 extra days. You'll be fine.

NOOO! I was about to attempt getting the Exec with the hack linked. I hadn't had a chance to do it in October. I wanted to meet the min spend by funding a new citi gold account too :(.
Ft wiki still has active 75k links

Those links contain the 18 month language.

If I finished my spend today and the AF posted Thursday 11/12. How fast can I get the points to post in order to cancel my card without paying the fee?

Miles will post 24-48 hours after your next statement closes. You have 37 days from when the AF was billed (which was 11/12)

When closing my account to get back the AF, I was able to transfer my entire CL besides for $5k.
The agent thought that it was because the card has a minimum $5k line to open, so it couldn't be transferred out.
Anyone else have this experience?

You are lucky you were able to transfer some of your CL, not so easy with Citi.

Interesting. Maybe cause I have Citigold for 6+ years now...
They didn't HP you?
The CSR offered to, but I politely declined.
He said that this is the max I can transfer without a HP.

Does anyone know if you need the physical card to get into a lounge, or having the card linked to your AA account, and giving them your AA number is enough?

Thanks. So I assume that only works if you're the primary cardholder and not AU?

Don't know. Sorry
Thanks anyway. Lastly, do you happen to know how long it usually takes for the card to be linked to your AA account after approval?
