Why would you pay $450 for this card?

Wondering the same thing.

You get retention offers every year, that make it worthwhile to keep the card ?

1. yes i do
2. Even if i didnt, its the same price as renewing an Admirals club membership for a PLT which is quite useful for someone who travels as much as i do
3. There are other benefits associated with the card

Wouldn't the prestige card be a better bet ?

Prestige card doesn't have Admirals Club membership, only Admirals Club access when flying AA.

Has anyone recently received a $200- statement credit? My card is renewing, and it's not worth $450- to me. $250, I would keep it.

I was given $450 retention bonus if I spent $5k a month x 3. The bonus just posted. I wasn't anywhere close to when the AF was due but passed the 90 day refund after the initial sign up. I told them I had gotten the Prestige and liked its benefits better and didn't think I needed both cards. He convinced me otherwise.

No
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

I got the Citi Exec card but when looking at my credit pulls I noticed that I had 2 pulls for this card, one on 8/27 from CBNA on Experian and another on 8/28 CITIBANK NA on Equifax.
Only one Citi card is listed on my CR and I only applied for the one card. Can I contest one of these credit inquiries or am I stuck with 2 pulls? (FYI none of the 3 are frozen)

Citi is known for pulling both EX and EQ, always freeze EX before applying with Citi. Disputing pulls isn't easy.

If I got the bonus for the lowest card, I won't be able to get any other bonus in that family any more?
