Meet CV. He is playing his game on a whole different level than most here in the forums.
...but they are those worthless TYP's.  ;)
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

I am focusing my efforts on UR/UA points. I amassed a bunch of SPG points but the bonuses and earning opportunities are so much more limited.
Personal: SP visa and mc  80k, Freedom at least 10k (possibly 30k) Biz:IB 50k, IP 50k, IClassic  20k, ICash 20k total 230k only one of each
The big AMEX bonuses come with huge annual fees
My wife and i are consistently getting offers of 50 or 75k for the gold 1st yr free. maybe u could opt in for prescreened offers (i think u can do it by calling)
I can't even figure out what to do with SouthWest points.
I use them when flights are cheap. for instance i have flown rt lga-mdw for 5800 points. so, unlike other points they have value even when flights are cheap (i dont like spending any money on travel even when it's cheap s/t to do with keeping my spending in check ;))

The first year will likely be much easier to accumulate over the following years

On the surface this would seem to be the case. You need to remember in the first year you will be making n00b mistakes and have a lot to learn. After a few years you will have it down to a science. It is ten times easier for me know then when I first started.

Very valid point.
