car rental want a small fortune. what would offer a good rate for GPS?

If you have a Garmin (not all models) you can get a card for Israel that works great and it was under $100. It turned out most cheaper than paying the daily rental for one. Garmin sells the card.

did it for much cheaper downloaded Israeli maps via utorrent but thismakes this q a tech question

Bought an Israel card on ebay for my garmin. I think it cost $30-$40

If you do have a garmin ang want to go this route, just double check that your model takes the card.
