Tape to hold a wire in place
« on: May 17, 2020, 05:07:37 PM »

I'm going to be making an extension for a telephone landline.  In an apartment in a sturdy old apartment building.  I'll need to string a wire from the original outlet to the new location.
How do I attach the wire to the wall/ceiling?  The walls are too dense to knock in a nail, so I assume staples from a staple gun won't penetrate enough to hold.
I was thinking of running tape along the whole wire to keep it tucked into the curve between the ceiling and wall.
What type of tape should I use?
What other options do I  have?

If you think staples won't work use glue

Raceway? Though, sounds like overkill for your use.
