its the same as the public offer 10k after first purchase and 15k after spending 15k in first 6 months

Does anyone think I can have a better chance at this by mentioning that I gave them a crazy amount of business (believe me, I did) since becoming their customer?

Who'd you give business to and how?
-Amex, by spending on the SPG card.
-Amex, by referring people to the SPG card.
-SPG, by staying at starwood hotels.

-I didn't have in mind the referrals, but now that you mention it, two of those came through forsure, maybe three..

Amex can definitely see that in your account history, so I'd definitely play that card (and the 'loyalty' card) with them.

Boy am I frustrated. I saw BP's post labeled "yesterday" and somehow misread the first post thinking it started  a few weeks ago (June 30).

I read through 8 pages of the forums until I realized that this is from 2010!!!
