Any contact info?

Where did she take you? What sites?
Jeanette Loeb-info@jewishhistoryamsterdam.com

We went to the Spanish-Portuguese Synagogue and deportation center.

She offers the Jewish Museum but we did that on our own and didn't think we would have needed her. Admission for the synagogue includes the Jewish Museum.

Anyone want to Wikify this thread?

Im not sure what happened to the old one but I started a basic one with some random info from the thread. I do not have patience to make a whole nice format or anything more but now that its there it can be played around with and edited.

stayed in the W amsterdam. brand new hotel; rooms are very modern and small. only one half the hotel is built the other is still under construction.
I just booked it. Would you say its worth 20k SPG a night?

Have any recommendations? Location is the main priority.

2 main locations: by the Jewish neighborhood for food and Minyan and then in town (25 min light rail ride) by the attractions. There's a Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam South that's in the Jewish neighborhood.

I think I want to stay in town, I just can't decide on a hotel choice that works.

I was there in the winter and the line was about two city blocks long. I didn't bother waiting.

Anyone have experience waiting? How fast does the line move?

-1. Depends on location. If you don't mind being a few miles from the museums and canals, you can get decent cheap hotels. I booked the element (brand new) for around $100/night.

Anyone know anything about Vos Kosher Catering?
It is under the Rabbinate of the Jewish Community of Amsterdam, as well as the Rabbinate of the Portuguese-Israeli Community of Amsterdam. Are those known to be reliable?
