Maybe I'll just leave the hotel and Uber... Wanted to grab a nap though :-(

What's the closest food eatery to AMS airport?
All are about 15 minutes.

Apologize in advance, as I am sure this was asked and answered somewhere. Planning a trip for just me and my wife in end of August. What is the recommended number of days?

I would say 3. I did a week (minus a day trip) with a toddler and we had 1 day too much. If it were just my wife and I, we could have done everything we wanted in 3.

If I have more time is there a nearby country you recommend I visit too?

My husband and I just spent 4 days in Amsterdam (one was Shabbat) and could easily have stayed longer. Especially if you venture out into the countryside, which we did for one day.

We are now in Belgium for 2 days. We are going to do Bruges/Ghent one day and Brussels/Antwerp the other, sleeping in Brussels for convenience.

In that case, 3 days in the city. More if you venture out of the city.

Thanks all the advice. Would it make more sense to spend shabbos in Amsterdam or in Antwerp?

I did shabbos in Amsterdam and it was phenomenal. Didn't do Antwerp at all.

Portuguese synogouge for shacharis, then in the afternoon walked around canals and wandered to Vondelpark, which is really nice.

Also got a Psak from my LOR to go to a museum on shabbos of we bought tickets in advance, so we went to the Jewish museum, which was OK - more geared to non Jews than frum people.
