Glad you made the most of a short stopover!

My thoughts on the points you made:
Should have bought Anne Frank tickets in advance online - that way you skip the line. ;D

Regarding Anne Frank House, it is one of the many places that the Museumkaart offers free admission, as well as waiting on the member's line to gain entry.  If you're visiting a few sites that take the card, well worth it.

I'm flying to Tlv tomorrow with a 14 hr stop over. I read a lot of this thread and it seems that anne frank museum, old synagogue, canal boat tour, pizza co and the sandwhich shop meijer are all musts. The flower market also sounds pretty cool.
Anyone have tips on how to plan everything in an order that geographically makes sense?
Also I'm traveling with a baby. Is it hard to travel around with a stroller or should I bring my baby carrier?
Any other info is greatly appreciated.
TIA

Flower market was not worth visiting. Definitely don't make a special stop for it, and only maybe pass by it if it happens to be on your way somewhere. Just plot all the spots on Google Maps and see what makes sense for the order.

See the posts above from yesterday. If you buy the Museumkaart, it will give you skip the line access - not sure how much it costs though to know whether it's worth it if you aren't going to be able to fit in too many other museums that day.

Boo. Maybe keep checking Anne Frank site and hope they open more tickets? (Not sure if that happens.)

If you like beer you should go to the Heineken factory. Went there during a stopover and had an awesome time. And a boat tour through the city is included when you buy entrance to the factory.

It has been written upthread not to go to the Heineken factory. I can go to a beer factory anywhere. Although I would like to do the boat tour...
And anyways I'm not a Heineken fan

Guess it's a matter of opinion but we personally really enjoyed it. And don't think I would consider it a ripoff by any means. 16 Euros for about four beers, a tour of the factory, and a boat ride isn't bad at all.

That is a very good price! Is that for 2 people or each person is €16?

16 per person if you buy online, 18 per person if you buy there.

Who provides the boat tour if I buy it with the Heineken tour?
How much is the boat tour by itself?

The boat tour is given by Heineken. It leaves from the factory every 30 minutes or something. Don't think you can buy a ticket for the boat tour on it's own.

It's part of the whole tour. Go through the factory, drink a bit, go on the boat tour which takes you to the other side of town to a Heineken gift shop, and then take the boat back to the factory (if you want to).

I guess it'll have to be a last minute decision, along with the rest of our itinerary.

Does anyone know if Amsterdam is easily accessible with a stroller?
