Seems like no one tried the Intercontinental Amsterdam (Amstel) (or IC Amsterdam) based on searches, anyone have any experience there? thinking of using my IC nights for a last hurrah.
Also, are there any shabbos meal options other than chabad (any other shuls have meals?) for some variety?
I used my free night there. It is very nice but the rooms are very dated. They upgraded me to Amstel view, which was amazing, the room is giant, and the bathroom is really nice. It's out of the eruv btw.
Personally, of the 3 hotels I stayed in (Andaz, Hyatt Regency, and IC), I enjoyed the Regency the most, though admittedly, the views are non existent and you need to use the metro to get anywhere (IC is also metro away from anything).
I don't think any other shul in city center has meals. You can buy takeout from Bakery Rimon on Friday morning. Portuguese shul should have a light Kiddush.
