What's with Keukenhof? Worth the shlep and ditching other things to do?
Maybe worth going straight from the airport after landing?

You might enjoy a canal tour sunset/evening time as I think it's more popular then.

Look to get a smaller boat and depending on the weather make sure it's enclosed as well.

At the airport buy a 2 day unlimited bus/ tram pass.

Daven at least once in the Portuguese shul for the "full experience" it's a very unique nussach.
Any boat recommendations?

What are minyan times at the shul?

Hacarmel, I agree to skip. In 2014 they didn't take credit cards, so I had to leave and find an ATM, plus the food was nothing special. It's annoying that the food is mostly in the Jewish community. I got lucky that Sal Meijer was still open and in town when I went, so it sufficed for lunch.

Pizza and Co was some of the best pizza I ever had. We were also the only ones in the store, so it just took the normal time it takes to make a pie from scratch, but no extra waiting time.

You don't have the Jewish museum on there (right across the street from Portuguese Synagogue. It's not all that exciting, but there's a bunch of old shul remnants that are nice to see.

Flower Market is a big skip. I mean you might pass through it on your way to something, but it's not a destination in itself, just a bunch of random shops with flowers and garden tchatchkes.

Hacarmel still didn't take CC as of last spring. Rimon doesn't either, but Pizza & Co and H'Baron do IIRC.

Thoughts?

Day 1:
Arrive AMS 5:55am
Dropoff luggage
Canal Ride (Approx 8am)
Van Gogh Museum (Approx 9am)
Rijksmuseum (Approx 10:30am)
Lunch: Pizza & Co (Approx 12pm)
Old city segway tour (2pm-3:30pm)

You can skip the Jewish Museum or do it quickly, we did it in less then 30 min.

From machane yehuda you can prob stop off at a flower market on the way to Portuguese shul.

If you can pull it off prob do the canal tour before habaron. The service there can be a little slow.

I was booked as a GOH and neither the Andaz nor the Regency gave kosher breakfast. We nibbled on fruit, oatmeal we brought, and coffee along with some pastries we picked up.
