Chase Visa Gift Card fees- temporarily waived

i tried to pay a credit card bill directly with chase gift cards at walmart and they could not find my account in their system,
is it possible that you cant pay a business card (ink plus) by walmart?
then when i tried to do a money order they said they cant process it with a gift card?


can someone enlighten me what im doing wrong?

Which Wal-Mart was that at?

 How many times does this have to be repeated- gc's are not to be used to purchase money orders or lay bills or load bb as per Wal-Mart's policy ( at least by most stores).
 There is no reason to let the cashier know that you're using a gc.  Let them think it's a regular debit card.

You do separate transactions and pay the extra 70 cents.

Or be cheap and try to do split tender and then be told its not allowed + kill it for everyone else

If you only have a couple of cards it is one thing. When you have hundreds of these there is not enough time to do one at a time.

Same here I could have sworn that I've paid my UME before at WM, came on Friday and it wouldn't work with Chase or Visa, she tried like four times. Worked fine with AA Amex and SPG Amex.

If you only have a couple of cards it is one thing. When you have hundreds of these there is not enough time to do one at a time.

Most people here aren't doing split tender bec "they have hundreds".
They are doing it either bec they're looking to save .70 cents, or bec they're just plain clueless and don't realize that it'll just cause more problems in the long run (or short run as seen above).

Why don't you try loading your BB and then going home and logging onto BB and paying your Chase account that way? Why in gods name do you have to pay the bill there at WM?

It keeps taking me back to the homepage at various stages of the order. something I cannot even get off of the homepage; it just keeps me there no matter what I click.

You can go to any register at WM and ask them to load your BB. For payment, just swipe your card and enter the PIN.

Thank u but Walmart in Neptune New Jersey told me yesterday they cannot load bb from a debit card anymore. Customer service read it to me. Is there any other way to cash out my gift cards?

I was just at another Walmart in NJ on Saturday night and I was able to load my BB through the ATM and through Customer Service. Maybe they were making up their own policy

I also plan on stopping by on my way home tonight to unload some more GC.
