Because if you can pay the Chase bill at WM I can pay all GC with one WM visit not $1k per day, $5k per month. It would be so nice if you can skip BB completely.

Read it again. I said IF you can pay. WM has a bill payment center and many bills can be paid there. I did try to pay my Chase bill there but the person working there told me she tried and it didn’t go.

See the screenshot below. I mean, Chase sold me their own GC on a Chase CC. The statement makes it pretty clear that they categorize the sale as such.

Is anyone sure that this is actually working?

No, Dan, I don't think you are a moron. To the contrary, I think you're pretty freaking brilliant. HOWEVER, I think that you do a lot of these stuff and maybe you don't mind taking some chances that one or two deals once in a while are busts. In my case, I am small time. I don't want to blow my shot on these GCs if it's not a sure bet. So, actually, if I was casting any aspersions, it was upon myself.

Having said all that... has this worked already for people?
