Never tried that only used it for BB. i imagine you'd need the same moneypass atm tho to read a GC as a debit card.

You can use a GC as debit at any payment terminal in any store by simply selecting the debit option when prompted and entering the PIN.

Please post in the appropriate thread. The answer to your question, as can be found in the wiki to the thread I linked to, is that you can load up to $1000/day and $5,000/month to your Bluebird account, regardless of the method of loading (GC, VR, etc.)

I didn't say it works at any ATM. I said it works at any payment terminal. For your purposes of loading Bluebird, this means that you can take your GC's to the checkout counter at WM and the cashier can load you Bluebird card for you. When asked for payment, swipe you GC and enter PIN.

Now I'm confused. If you were talking about using GC at non-moneypass ATM, what did you mean by this
Really?! I tried multiple times @ other wm and did not have any success.

you tried doing WHAT at other WM ATM? Buying MO? Withdrawing cash? Loading BB?
AFAIK, if you find a non-moneypass ATM that sells MO, GC w/ PIN should work as method of payment, just as it works at any payment terminal. But to withdraw cash is a different story.
So in short, my response to this
Where in Long Island do one that issues MO?
Never tried that only used it for BB. i imagine you'd need the same moneypass atm tho to read a GC as a debit card.
is that you do not need a moneypass ATM in order to use a GC as debit. So your imagination is wrong - if you have an ATM that sells MO, GC w/ PIN should work IMO (though I have never tried, nor have I ever seen a non-moneypass ATM that sells MO.)

Doors anyone know:
1) I just called the 800 number on the cards to activate them and get PIN and the recording said "card not recognized". I was automaticaly transfered to a rep. Who told me i need to fax in a proof of address.
does anyone know of this? Should i be worried about something?
2) on the ones that did work, the recording stated "not good for cash back or ATM withdraw". Does anyone know if these are still loadable to BB at WM?

If you get the right WM you can still get it done. In areas that have a lot of DDF people you will have a harder time.

Had that on some cards and asked for all kinds of ridicules thinks for proof against fraud. At the end I faxed them a copy of their own card with their envelope as proof of address and they were happy.

Just ordered $2500 worth of these gift cards for the heck of it and without getting charged a fee, the transaction went through!
Only $2500 left to go on my Chase SP card :)

Is it $2500 limit per SSN per month? Or per CC number?
per cc # but don't know how safe it is to max out
