Kosher food at BA Lounges in Terminal 5 LHR

Hi All -

I'm flying from JFK-LHR-BOM in Club World and am wondering if the BA lounges in Terminal 5 at Heathrow have kosher food. I'm arriving in the morning so would love to catch a quick bite before heading to India. I found a posting on BA which says that "Terminal 1 now has kosher" but not clear if that's in addition to Terminal 5. I probably won't have time to leave the Terminal since my connection is less than 2 hours. Any advice would be appreciated.

IME the best you'll get is some fruit, potato chips and possibly some (OU-D) cookies. If you are willing to go through security, there is a store that should sell kosher sandwiches if you are desperate.

Now, if you would be flying in F, that would be a different story.

There are 2 BA Club lounges @ T5.
If you go to the larger one (make a right after security, walk past duty free and up escalators) then they have Hermolis meals in the freezer and they will warm them up for you!

-1 "Gold" is correct. If you ask for kosher food in the CLUB lounge they will bring you the Hermolis soup (usually mushroom) and bagels with lox. (They are not bad!). But if you specify that you want a meat or fish kosher then they will warm up the same hermolis meal as the ccr...

My new concern is that my flight from JFK is arriving at 9am and a I have a 10:55am connection (both in Terminal 5). I'm hoping a) the flight is not delayed and b) I have some time to freshen up / grab a bite in the lounge since the next flight is 12 hours later.

12hrs? Or 2 hrs?
If the latter you would have time but it's tight if both flights are in t5c then you will have more time

Do you need to go through security to get from Terminal 3 to Terminal 5? At any rate with a 4 hour layover and needing to get from t3 to t5 what's the best kosher food option?

You will go through another security check but usually it's a faster queue as it's for connecting flights only.
If you want there are kosher DD sandwiches sold in Heathrow.
Are you flying coach/Business/first?

Its for a friend that I am planning out their trip. They are arriving in Business on AA to LHR from the US but their connection to Venice is in coach. Can I assume BA won't let them into their lounge?

Yes, very decent and packaged well. They had different options, I think there was cream cheese, egg salad, maybe even a deli or brisket sandwich of some sort.
