Anyone have acxess to the consumer reports grill ratings for this year. Saw a deal on a char broil at the local ACE and wanted to see reviews. Not sure if it's worth spending the extra money on a Weber

I'm no grill expert, but that sounds like a good deal. Just the assembled part is worth at least $50. These things take several hours to put together.

+1 a Weber with these specs would be easily 4x the price. Do you think it will last 4x as long?

Probably not, I have (probably) their cheapest model. It works great for me but after 2.5 years of solid usage, the warming shelve is causing me some minor issue. Although this model looks far more solid than mine . For what I paid and need it's great though.

invest in a good cover. it'll make any grill last longer. or roll it into a garage if you can.

+1m don't go cheap, I first bought a cheap one and after one big storm it got blown off and torn. Also Make sure it's the right size for your grill if it's too big it'll come off in heavy wind.

Thanks! Found a solid cover on amazon for $25. And not having to assemble this makes it worth every Penny.

Also if your siding is vinyl I would move the grill a little further away from the house. Vinyl doesn't look so nice after it melts

Does anyone know of any current deals on weber grills? looking to buy a 3 burner weber genesis....are there any tricks or discounts to know about, or is it on sale anywhere?

My neighbor's Grandfather started the company with the kettle grill, and he invented the "Genesis" line. Sold the company last year but kept the restaurants. Nicest family ever. Best grills ever. I know I am biased, but I love their products, they last forever!
