Does anyone have any experience converting a propane grill to natural gas? The selection for natural gas seems smaller and the deals almost non-existent, so I figure buying propane and converting might be a good option.
I recently posted about this. Received no response. If you look online there are some kits for sale. But people have posted ways to do it by yourself. Actually seems pretty simple. You need to enlarge the holes which the gas possess through

Anyone know how to get a deal on a Weber grill?
They seem to have fixed pricing across the internet.
I'm looking at the one touch gold or performer.

My local HD has a few of these on clearance for $135.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FDOON9W/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller=

(I'm nearly positive it is this.. It said on the box q140..... ) if you add Dan's $11 off via GC I guess that comes to about $120 pre-tax which I guess is a "deal" at over $100 off Amazon.

Depending on where you live, it might be too late, but many Home Depots (maybe Lowe's too?) have end of the season clearance sales.
i would think now is the start of the season

Anyone have experience with grills from Onward Manufacturing? They have a few brand names, including Broil King at Lowes and Broil Mate at Home Depot. Seems to occupy a similar space to Weber.

I ended up buying a Broil King. Haven't used it yet though because I have to sort out an issue with my gas line.

According to the salesperson in Lowes, they used to manufacture weber in that factory, and then they started their own lines (broil king, mate etc). He said they are not in existence long enough for them to have the "street cred" which Weber has, (the infamous 10 yr+ lifespan) but in his opinion they are just as good.

Enjoy! let us know in 10 years if that statement is true

If you burn off your grill to 'clean' it after cooking, it's more likely to rust. The remaining grease keeps it from rusting...

(if you have a SS weber, this may not apply to you...)

I usually do that also.
But if you leave it greasless for a couple of days you can get rust.

Anyone have acxess to the consumer reports grill ratings for this year. Saw a deal on a char broil at the local ACE and wanted to see reviews. Not sure if it's worth spending the extra money on a Weber
