How do you transfer domain?
I have an old account I would like to transfer, but all I was able to do was add an additional domain, or an alias, which doesn't give you a catch-all

pls explain what you mean by "transfer" transfer registrars? Or do u mean that you want to add that to Google apps?

If it is the latter you will need to add it as a secondary domain and not as an alias. You can change ur admin user to be at the new domain. And you should be able to create a catchall.

To transfer registrars it depends on the company each has their own ways of doing it
