Such happy precious moments you had there, ah? No kosher grocery there anymore, the buffet that used to have according to Dan a meal for about 3 dollars has gone way way up. The nicest part of BR is the plaza near the metro station.

Yes, every day I walked around there felt so wow!

If that's what happened to the kosher grocery, I'm scared to ask what happened to all those old Shuls..

There are still quite a few Shuls in the area, not of them nice, but they still exist. There is smallish shul right on the corner near Yeshiva at Bandeirantes and Prates, crowd about 25 people there, everyone using their phones on Shabbos there. Then there is R' Begun shul on Rua Talmud Thora, did the job for the few times that we stayed in town for Shabbos. As for Kosher groceries, there is a place called Menorah on Guarani right around the corner from Yeshiva, they have kosher stuff there, though not everything is so kosher. Meaning he doesn't do them anyone so lots of info is probably outdated.

Most of the info is in TR but he breaks it down as far as places to stay, things to do etc. In a regular TR he just comments on his experience, where he stayed etc.
