Here's a list of the places in Dan's trip notes section in reverse chronological order of date posted (it's not a perfect list but it's complete enough for my purpose here):
Banff, LA, Chicago, Cleveland, Cooperstown/Springfield/Canton, Singapore, NYC, Maldives, Paris, Miami, Aruba, Vancouver, KC, NYC, Boston, Buenos Aires, Sydney, DC/Baltimore, Hawaii, Melbourne, Vegas, Venice, Israel, Zurich, Palm Springs, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit

The only ones with photos even worth looking at to compare to Banff are Maldives, Melbourne and Hawaii. Of those, I'd say that for subject, the Banff photos are better (if not strikingly better as jaywhy described them) than the Maldives and Melbourne photos, while Hawaii's probably have to be right up there with Banff's. Comparing the Kauai and Banff photos I'd have to agree that either the camera or Dan's photography skills (or both) have been upgraded between the two.
