Can you BBQ fish on a meat grill?

Perhaps not the answer you were looking for, but... If you need to ask that question, you're probably grilling your fish wrong.

It's best not to put fish straight on the grate, anyway. A good idea is to put each piece on a soaked cedar plank (or similar).

Doesn't. I believe it's a Rama (Shach? not recalling 100%). They have a different guf, so it's not a sakana

Back to the original q. Not only can you have fish and meet i the grill you can even do it ben Yomo! As long as you let the grates get burned out, it should really be until they become white (ליבון גמור) but if you want do ליבון קל and just make sure they so hot that if u out a tissue the tissue might catch on fire or shrivel up.

 And as far as CV being allowed to cook for us, if i ain't mistaken theres possibility to marrying his kids...(ע׳ שו״ע לגבי פס עכום) but if CV called us over for some French fries itll be ok (if i may recall) bec its not עולה שולחן למלאכים.

Speaking of fish are you allowed to cook it in the ground? Many wrap it in foil and cook it in the fire pit covered by dirt.

Not so simple. These days, there are Shittos who hold that potatoes are עולה שולחן למלאכים which is why there are people who don't eat regular potato chips(as opposed to Jewish brands).

Its based on a few gemaros, one of them in niddah, there is a discussion whether if its because of what they eat or that they dont have "worry" about mitzvos re zav.
