Referring to today's Guf?
Theirs as opposed to ours.Todays vs then is a whole other discussion....
Not so simple. These days, there are Shittos who hold that potatoes are עולה שולחן למלאכים which is why there are people who don't eat regular potato chips(as opposed to Jewish brands).
i will look it up tom and find exactly but u are potentially right....i think though we can savory say as my rebbe recently said shtraimel cookies are NOT עולה. They are pas akum
fyi oleh al shulchan is by cooked non bread items any bread is only pas akum and if its pas palter is mutar as apposed to bishul akum which is is talui in oleh al shullchan and there is no heter to eat bishul akum. potato products are very comp r belsky says it has to do with what would be served at a wedding so fries and potato chips are good as apposed to r moshe and r yaakov who hold it has to with what is served at the white house so wise chips are assur gamur!
Does he have an opinion about our discussion? Meat+fish today?
That's the Machlokes I was referring to. Thanks.
Not for me. Go from fish to steak and sometimes both at the same time. Ever hear of "surf and turf"?

rot: are you confusing fish/meat with fish/milk?
TY and I don't care what anyone says about you. You are "kosher" in my book.
nope. Mean fish and meat. I first thought maybe your right, but i specifically asked my rebbe this morning about "if i have a BBQ grill can i grill fish and then meat" he said since there are just bliyos we don't have to worry about bliyos when it comes to this. And obviously there won't be mamoshos. We then had this argument how long would it take for a 700+ degree enclosed BBQ to be libun gamur vs libun kal.
I hope I don’t open up the can with this one but are Jewish dietary laws God given or man created?
OT!(very OT)
I should start a seperate thread? This seems a good thread for this question.
You never learned through the original Bible?
