I don't disagree about Irving, but you probably didn't take your own advice, what with Westbrook at the top of your list. NBA.com has a FG% on drives, and Westbrook's was actually lower than Irving's.http://stats.nba.com/players/shooting-efficiency/#!?sort=DRIVE_FG_PCT&dir=1&Season=2016-17&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&PerMode=Totals&CF=DRIVE_PTS*GE*200Lebron and Durant are on a whole other level from the rest of the league in this category.
And the cavs are now better suited to trade irving, if the opportunity presents itself this year.
Stats work the way you want them. I forget which game it was in the last final but LBJ was taking it to the hole almost every time he touched the ball in the first half. The second half it was non-existent.
And your point is...?
Using an eff fg% on drives of players that have a significant number of drives a game (>7 or so), kyrie is top 10 each of the past 3 years. The players above him are:1. LBJ2. Rose3. Derozan4. Liliard 5. Cousins (I'm fine considering him a good finisher, of all of the big men)His FT% helps him in these statistics despite his drives or fg% not being as high as some of the players on this list.
so now you went from best finisher to top 10. There you go as I said I don't have the numbers, but I'm sure the numbers would prove he wasn't the best
Anyone have the latest line on Rose staying healthy for the entire 17-18 season?
Finishing in crunch time is what matters the most.
even if he's healthy he doesn't complement lebron so they really can't have him in the court in crunch time. He basically will be running the team when lebron sits
Aside from the fact that clutchness is largely a myth
Lol. You're the only one having that discussion - the proverbial old man yelling at the clouds. Aside from the fact that clutchness is largely a myth - should I have saved that for Friday?
So LBJ runs the team when he is on the floor? Is he a PG?
no
Many claimed what a great finisher he is. I am trying to figure out what they are talking about. The only thing I got so far is he can change hands.
...and they're talking about finishing a drive with points.
1st question, 2nd question or both?
No to the second. but yes the offense does run through lebron obviously
Then their own stats they used says he isn't or did I miss something?
So the PG doesn't run the offense? This is why need some ground rules.
