Not worth it imo. You're literally throwing away your future for the chance of a ring when you're gonna get to the finals anyway. Unless lebron commits

Yes, but the profit the higher chance of a new ring will bring (lets say itll go up from 20% to 50%) against the near certainty that the cavs will suck and have a hard time attracting new talent at cap-friendly prices may not be worth it. And this is all assuming the OKC situation doesn't work out for them.

celtics are really stupid. They lost their 2 best defenders. I don't see how they got better overall. They would have been better off going after butler

Of course. And their own MRI. But he had a history of badness there.  A hip is not like an ACL...once injured, always weakened.

Cavs think they can beat them anyway. Celtics think they'll win the east in 2 years and can sign kyrie to a LT deal
