I really don't understand how players like DW and DR aren't worth minimum contracts. The cavs starting lineup isn't near the warriors currently (even w a healthy IT), but their bench is really deep. And they have several players w high upside that thy got for near free

It's near, IMHO last year was closer than it seemed. Take JR out of starting 5 and put him as 6th man and they're at least equal to Warriors (playoff not reg. season)

Do you think DW and DR aren't worth a combine $4.4m in salary?  Again, I dont think anyone things they're getting MVP wade/rose, but they both have a decent amount of upside and make the team better (The cavs didn't give up anyone to get them, except JaCorey Williams and maybe Kay Felder)

Assuming both teams have everyone healthy going into the finals. I say Cavs in 5.

Durant has choked away a 3-1 lead and so has Curry. Both were in 2016. Warriors should be clear regular season favorites though.

There is a reason they are cheap.

They are odds on favorites to win it all. CLE odds didn't change with the additions.

Now factor in their salaries
16.4 million vs 2.3 million
Is Green even double as good as Wade, let alone 7 times better?
It's an amazing deal for CLE.

2.3 actually costs the Cavs closer to 10 M because of luxury tax so it's not about saving $. It's about cap space

Yes draymond green is more than 7 times better than Dwayne wade.
This has nothing to do with money. Dwayne wade won't make enough of a difference either way.

The only way this is a bad signing is if they are pressured into leaving him on the floor when he hurts them defensively. For the past few years he has not been Getting back on defense.

The NBA is different now then last time he played with Lbj. Lbj needs shooters around him and dw is not a good shooter.

But again if Ty lue is willing to bench wade when he's not performing then there will be no issues

Of course but that’s a business decision. I’m talking about against cap. Keep in mind they’ll also make more $ w bigger name players

Ty Lue had Deron Williams on the floor- dont think he is capable of benching anyone
