He shot 40%, which is around what the other high usage players shot on both sides (curry or Klay may have shot 44-5). Both sides shot poorly.

He was 36/13/9, though, which I think makes up for it.

Remember they were playing without KL and KI in the finals. He still took them to 6.

36/13/9, despite them doubling up on him due to cle not having a second option. That’s pretty darn good. He alone made it a series.

He shot bad no matter how you look at. You can't dominate anyone with those numbers. He should be doubled every time he touches the ball like other greats but that hardly ever happens.

It’s hard to do that when he’s surrounded by shooters. He’s possibly the best passing big since MJ - and not Michael.

The bottom line is two out three series he didn't deserve the MVP because he didn't dominate GS.

Yes I watched the games. That's how I remembered he had a bad shooting series. Even if I didn't watch one look at the final scores would have been a red flag.

Durant was MVP last year hands down. There is no case to be made for LBJ.

Durant was Finals MVP, because for the loser to be MVP you have to be much better than the best guy on the winning team. (Which is why LBJ should have won it the year he won 2 games with a bunch of guys off the street.)
