At least we are having an honest discussion now but you are looking through rose colored glassed. Wasn't 2015 when he had a horrendous shooting finals?
He shot 40%, which is around what the other high usage players shot on both sides (curry or Klay may have shot 44-5). Both sides shot poorly.

He was 36/13/9, though, which I think makes up for it.

Remember they were playing without KL and KI in the finals. He still took them to 6.

OK he shot
FG% - .398
3PT - .310
FT - .687
If he dominated with that shooting I have a bridge to sell you.

36/13/9, despite them doubling up on him due to cle not having a second option. That’s pretty darn good. He alone made it a series.

He shot bad no matter how you look at. You can't dominate anyone with those numbers. He should be doubled every time he touches the ball like other greats but that hardly ever happens.

It’s hard to do that when he’s surrounded by shooters. He’s possibly the best passing big since MJ - and not Michael.

The bottom line is two out three series he didn't deserve the MVP because he didn't dominate GS.

-2. He was undoubtedly the best player twice. And still amazing the third.

Did you even watch the games. IMO it’s definitely supported by that. True NBA fans would agree

Yes I watched the games. That's how I remembered he had a bad shooting series. Even if I didn't watch one look at the final scores would have been a red flag.

Did you watch the games the following year? Or only when the Cavs lose?

You don't remember me saying "The Block" was nothing? Or me saying Kyrie was the hero with the 3 when LeBron could not hit anything in the last two minutes. See I didn't like him back then either.  :)

You said: The case could be made for a LBJ finals mvp all three of those years...
Durant was MVP last year hands down. There is no case to be made for LBJ.
Westbrook was MVP last year. He averaged a triple double.

I'm confused.

Durant was Finals MVP, because for the loser to be MVP you have to be much better than the best guy on the winning team. (Which is why LBJ should have won it the year he won 2 games with a bunch of guys off the street.)
