Durant was Finals MVP, because for the loser to be MVP you have to be much better than the best guy on the winning team. (Which is why LBJ should have won it the year he won 2 games with a bunch of guys off the street.)

I thought it should be a technical for unsportsmanlike conduct, that’s it. Isn’t that what they usually do if no initial foul was called?

I didn’t hear a foul call. Maybe it was too loud, but I thought they realized something happened but didn’t blow a whistle. They def stopped play afterward

Clearly no worse then a flagrant 1 IMO, but I don't mind the call. Made no difference to the outcome of the game, and helps prevent some if the stupid things losing teams do when they're getting blown out/swept. They don't want anyone getting hurt like that.

No one said it effected anything and has nothing to do with the teams that played. What it does have to do with is what I have been saying for a long time. That is how soft this league has become.

Do you think Football will be played the same way in 50 years when they see all the players with debilitating mental injuries in their older years? I think it's great as a society we are realizing somethings just aren't worth our entertainment.

While you might like gladiator fights to the death for entertainment, or boxing with little regulation, I think these changes are a welcome addition to the game. There's no reason to do a hard foul when you are down by 30 and the guy had an open breakaway.

Agree f2 was harsh. im sure the fact that derozan was behind clarkson and didn’t appear to aim for the ball in the swipe helped make the decision. But still, f2 was harsh.

You want to turn this into a society issue then start with banning boxing and football because you can't make them safe.

Now back to reality. This was a soft foul where he happened to hit his head while going for the ball.

ETA: In fairness I went back and looked at it and it wasn't a "soft" foul.
