Require players to sit out for 2+ games for all reasons.

Alternatively, dock players pay if not for injury (and give to league). If injured, must declare injury and perhaps other rules.

What’ll happen, though, is he’ll end up playing for 5 minutes.

they can always claim an injury how would you verify?

maybe they can have a list of the scheduled off days before the season starts

What am I missing here? Why do they need days off when they are fine to play?

My point is if they sit out for a game, make them sit out for 2.

True, they can decide to sit out for 2. But more of an incentive not to abuse rest days.

they take off for "load management" so they don't break down by the playoffs

kawhi only played 60 regular games last year

Lebron is playing alot and hard this year (after the loss to the Clippers) if he keeps this up, i pick them to lose in the first round
NBA is all about the playoffs, so load management is a necessary evil
