Its pretty pathetic that there are no "real" NBA fans here, only LeBron fan boys and Cleveland Cavs fans when they are doing good but these last 24 hours in the NBA World have been amazing!

James Harden goes from being out for gam 5 to playing 46 minutes in Game 5 on one leg

KD drops a 49 point triple double in a pretty much "must win" game

CP3 might miss 1-3 games of the conference finals

Kawhi ruled out for tonight's game 5

Now Stan Van Gundy is out as Coach of the pelicans after one season..

This is one day in the NBA, so much drama!

Probably the same reason ratings are down.

It's funny - for the first part of my life I ignored the NBA and devoured every inning of MLB. In recent years that switched...I've now been bored by MLB and enthralled by the NBA.

Also, it's really not difficult to filter out the NBA political stuff.

Ratings are not down, if people cannot separate politics from the NBA that is absurd. You are there to watch them play ball whatever they politically believe should have no bearing. Are MLB players better politically? What about NFL players?
