IMO they will stay tied w nets as favorites after this move.

 It was expected that they’d go for a move like this. It makes them better, but this past year was a failure so they need to be better.

it makes them better because they didn’t give up much. But Westbrook is a flawed player. His lack of shooting will most likely hurt the Lakers. He’s not as explosive as he once was.

He means wb isn’t an off the ball shooter or a perimeter shooter.

I  don’t think that matters. Lakers can find floor spacers at vet min. Wb is still one of the best playmakers in the game.

The bigger deal is if he can play well with lebron.

spacing won’t be great with him and LeBron sharing the floor. Even with other shooters. It’s not about points scored. Will work for regular season. Not sure about the playoffs

It's an experiment. It can fail.

I can't imagine he won't make them better because of his playmaking and scoring, but the lakers need 3 point shooters to win a ring.  If they can fill up the roster with people like Reddick, Iggy, Love, etc., I think they'll be ok.

People talk about how Lebron makes players better - I think it works both ways. Wing players that can space the floor (e.g., Korver) make Lebron better.
