here, I'll give you an example using this ml. The fact that the lines are much higher than the ml for game 6 in the cup finals takes into account that the favorite in the NBA is more favored than in hockey. You won't find a ml like this in the NHL.

Yes NBA currently has bigger favorites. That is because some teams have a lot more talent than others. It has nothing to do with luck. A 2-1 favorite in any sport is a 2-1 favorite, PERIOD!!!

ETA: The Hawks have had home games this past year where they were -300 or greater.
