He's very good, but he's not good enough to lead a great team. I also don't see him as a good leader.

Then what's the point?
Risk is opportunity

Where do you get this non-sense from?
hes not a top 10 player but he's a top 5 point guard and the league is built around point guards. So if I'm starting a team I would be happy to have kyrie to build around.
Current list of top NBA PGs IMO(I know I'm not a GM)
Curry
Westbrook
Wall
Cp3
Kyrie

I wouldn't want to build around cp3 cause he's too old. So what is wrong with building around a top 4 young point guard in a guard driven league?

He has a high trade value, there's no doubt about that. I don't think he's the leader he thinks he is, though.

I am excited to see some changes- if we get two quality players and Derick Rose plays well- we can be darn dominant.
Will have a great passer up there

Because Butler is better than him and how did that work out for the Bulls?

you're bringing up the bulls?? other than the knicks and Sacramento they probably have the worst front office. They didnt build around JB correctly. he needed shooters around him and they gave him d rose who cant shoot and noah who couldnt make a free throw

The only reason I brought up the Bulls is to show you he is not a top 5 PG.
We started out he is the best finisher all time, NOT!
Then he was a top ten player in the game, NOT!
And ended up he was a top 5 PG in the game, NOT!
What's left?  :)

Come to think of it he is not even a Scottie Pippen.

I went by the list he provided. He had Kyrie at #5 and Butler is better than him so that knocks Kyrie to #6 without thinking about anyone else.

Depends what you consider a PG. Butler ran the offense.

I guess if you narrow the category down enough you can make any player top 5 at something.  :P

Take you pick.

Point guard:
The backcourt player who directs the team's offense.
A guard in basketball who is chiefly responsible for running the offense.
A position in basketball usually reserved for the team's best ball handler and/or best passer.
A guard who is usually the shortest of the five basketball positions and specializes in handling the ball distributing it to the other players and generally running the team's offense.

You want more definitions?  :)

Wait, so you're a Bulls fan who somehow thinks Jimmy Butler played PG for the Bulls last year, by any definition of the term?

I can't pick the last definition as he wasn't the shortest.  :P
