Easy call, goaltending.

ETA: Maybe not.  :)
Looks like the ball wasn't above the rim.

ETA: Final decision, goaltending!!!
e. During a field goal attempt, touch a ball after it has touched the backboard below the ring level and while the ball is on its upward flight.

Why not talk about the wrong out of bounds call made on the play before that?
"The Last Two Minute Report also noted a missed call that benefited the Pacers, saying the referees erred when they gave the ball to Indiana with 27.6 seconds left. On the play, the Pacers' Thaddeus Young deflected the ball away from James and it landed out of bounds, but the refs failed to blow the whistle. The ball then bounced off James' arm and landed out of bounds again, with refs whistling the play dead this time and giving the ball to the Pacers."

The weird part is why it wasnt reviewed. Every time you have a ball go out under 2 minutes left even if it was obvious you have every player twirling their finger. This one they just played on. Weird!

I do think it was weird that they didn't try to review it, but it's also really weird that this was included in the report. There were 2 replays I saw of the play, one seemingly showing it landing in bounds and one seemingly out. Based on the angles, the one that showed it bouncing in was more credible to me.

Either way, I raised the goaltend because that was the more significant (and blatant) call. And as far as impact to the game, not awarding the actual 2 points from the goaltend is far more damaging than losing possession.

I didn't see the play. Did anyone complain?

Is goaltending reviewable? I had to watch several times to see if the ball hit the backboard first.

Yes.
I think he meant the out of bounds. And no, no one complained. Took the Cavs broadcast team halfway through the timeout to realize it should've been Cavs ball.

Moving my ETA down here:
Also, the out of bounds went relatively unnoticed because no one was arguing about it. Lebron certainly had no idea where it landed the first time, so hard for him to make a stink about it in the moment. I feel like if he was vocal about it right then and there he'd have gotten the review at least. On the other hand, Oladipo was calling for the goaltend right away, to no avail. If you call it, you can review and overturn.

It's only reviewable if they call it to begin with.

Yes, out of bounds play. If no one complains they probably will not review it.

How about a serious question. What is with his reaction after making the three? Then he wonders why everyone dislikes him.

Serious question: why does Jordan stick his tongue out during plays like a moron. And you wonder why everyone hates him.

You're talking about 11.c. Even if it wasn't a goaltend by 11.c, it's still a goaltend by 11.d. There is absolutely zero question as to whether it was a goaltend. The rest of this discussion is perfectly valid (whether it mattered, was it that big a missed call in real time, etc.)

I’m not referring to this play. Nba admitted they blew the call. I’m referring to the misconception  perpetrated above that touching he ball once it hits the glass is automatically a goaltend.

It is. The only situation excluded from the rules is if it hits the glass below the rim and 'blocked' on the way down - with means it would be excluded anyway because it couldn't have gone in. The rules are written terribly, but that's what they say.

There are situation where the ball could have gone in after the ball hits the glass yet it isn’t a goaltend.  And you’ve said twice the ball is blocked on the way down. It just can’t be on the way up. Doesn’t have to be on the way down.
