All I want to know is how much Spoelstra paid Ginobli.
Oh come on, the guy had one good game the whole season and it happened to have been game 5! :P
it killed me to see bosh block greens shot.
Yup definitely a crucial play. Lebron had one great block on Duncan.

That was one of the stupidest things I have seen in NBA history.

Vigorously defend? Certainly. To smother a three-point shooter to the extent he did and risk fouling* when down by three and putting an 85% FT shooter on the line for three uncontested shots with the finals on the line? Sheer stupidity.

*A call which would have absolutely been made had this been a regular season game, or even in that game at the end of the, say, third quarter.
ur right. But i think bosh had a point to prove. But it was also stipud playing. But then again why doesn't anyone foul Allen before he gets the shot off. Or even on the rebound.

Easier said than done. Bosh didn't exactly hold the ball and give an opportunity to foul. And with Allen on the shot, he basically caught the ball behind the arc. Parker barely got there at all to contest, he certainly wasn't going to be able to foul before the shot.

Thousands of people over the years have wondered "why didn't Player X block/foul Ray Allen?". Dude's got THE quickest release in NBA history. Next to impossible to get there in time. Questioning why Bosh wasn't fouled on the rebound has no merit either. A: I have never seen someone foul intentionally in that situation, and B: Bosh practically touch-passed it to Allen - there was no time to foul him, nor was anyone even in a good position to do it.

Q.  Did you take into consideration fouling up by three with the final seconds of regulation?
COACH GREGG POPOVICH:  That's a European question, right?

Q.  Yes.  We usually do in Italy and Europe, anyways.
COACH GREGG POPOVICH:  Right.  We don't.

He likes to deflect, but in reality it's a stupid question. The ball was behind the arc the whole time except when it was in the air for the shots, and for Bosh's rebound. As was mentioned already, there wasn't really any opportunity to foul there. So really the question is moot.

you obviously didnt watch the knick pacer series.

And @moish. Its just an excuse for bad coaching, and execution.

And cartin brought up a very solid point, after Allen hits the 3 Joey Crawford rips the ball out of Lenords hands and calls an officialls TO. the spurs could've had a 5-2 down the stretch.

Heat brought the ball down with 19 seconds left. There's no sense in turning it in to in a fouling game (in the NBA) when you already have control of the game. You won't find any competent coaches who disagree with that decision.

up 5 means nothing in the NBA?  McGrady will easily tell you 13 with 30 seconds is also nothing.

your an idiot. No offense. I will spell t out for you. The Knicks would foul the worst free throw shooter in order for him to have to shoot the FT.
But really no offense.

They weren't up 5, they were up 3.

Bringing an example of the craziest spurt in NBA history shows me nothing.

Doubt anyone on these boards would take offense to you calling them an idiot.

How is this is at all relevant to what I said?

You asked why they didn't foul on the rebound. I said no one has ever fouled in that situation. So you counter that the Knicks fouled the worst FT shooter. Again: how is that relevant to what I said?
