U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel came in today, it's going to be interesting how he's going to leave if the Histadrut act up
Elal let a plane fly today with cancer patients or cancer parents, so im sure they will make another exception.

Ok idk if this deserves a thread- but anyone have news on Israeli airport strike? When will go in affect? Which flight affected ? How insurence works/doesn't work in these sitch??
My parents in airport to come to Israel with stopover - supposed to land tues (when strike may be full blown)!!
So far delta has no info/ cancelations..

My parents leaving ny today with delta -stop in ams-to land in tlv tue 2:30am..
So far delta sees no cancelation.. Will they get affected?? They will be in ams by then.. What then?
How does insurence work ? (Bought through Priceline.. Covers?)

Who do they think they are hurting by striking?? Um themselves...
Not fully true. In many strike situations, they end up receiving regular pay during the settlement negotiations.
Getting people upset at them for cancelling their flights.. Needing to bump people off the next day's flights when they stop striking, ect.

On another note, its a shame that the whole open skies situation, is only regarding europe at the moment, and not to open up more flights and competition in the USA.
There already is an OpenSkies agreement with the USA, CMIIW

Currently they re saying it will start at 5-6 am so they should be fine. I am worried how long it will last
