The reports all say Tuesday from 6am for a few hours. Did you see confirmed for Tuesday all day? My flight is scheduled to land Tuesday 5pm

What airline?

I'm with a very large group set to fly out EWR-TLV Wednesday afternoon... I wonder if they'll solve this by then and we leave on time.

The last time I tried booking someone on DL, they were still leaving in the 7PM range. :)

I hope I'm correct, I dont know how long a "few hours"can be on Israeli time :-)
It's a "solidarity strike", so basically it's the equivalent of a moment of silence. Also they have gone on strike in a while, if they weren't gonna strike soon, people would start think the world was coming to an end

I remember that as well from past bookings, but it seems that changed.

Well said, Dan. It's a pity people take it very personally instead of seeing the greater picture.

For someone who's never actually flown El Al, you sure have a lot to say :)

Anyone notice that the only route not affected is their only profitable one (JFK)?
