Do you already have the lock?
They are quite easy to install yourself. A handyman, or anyone with some basic tools can do it. Don't think u need an actual locksmith.

I never used him. My friend gave me his number and said he is the cheapest around. But if u use him, please report back.

Any locksmiths out here? I have a double sided lock . My key got jammed and while trying to take it out it broke off any ideas how to get it out? Would pushing in key from other side help?

Key from the other side should not help. You can try spraying with penetrating oil and then using a plier to wiggle out the stuck piece (it might be held in by slightly turned pins). FYI double sided locks are viewed negatively in fire code.

True, but the immediate danger of a clever (but still not responsible) 3-year-old getting out and into the street, can far outweigh the future possible danger of the fire hazard.
