If you think the broker doesnt know he can get the same transfer promo, perhaps he will pay you more for BA than the equivalent amex.

If you have no travel plans for the next ~5 months then it probably does not make sense to transfer.

I would reccomend just selling the amex. less risk

so I transferred amex to ba yesterday (bummer).. I called MR to try and get the bonus and they said it isnt them who offer the bonus, rather ba, and I should try ba. Is that true?.. should I HUCA amex or just try ba? (or both)..

It is true but BA won't help you.

thanks! I was kind of taken aback how firm the CSR at amex these days. She was very firm how they will not do anything to compensate me for anything..
