This order specifically or GC's in general? Cuz I've used coupons on GC's many times w/o an issue...

live chat or regular cs can not do anything only the credit department can clear it. they realize everything....

they got smarter the old days are long gone staples cracked down...please try to use your rewards for gift cards(you will lose them..)

how long ago did this happen? have used rewards in store quite recently and coupons on gift cards online not too recently but not too long ago either

I tried to use rewards on gc's in-store just yesterday, and it didnt't work. Not even on the $7 fee.

I didn't do to many. I did 5 orders with 5 email address.
Same billing name changed up the shipping name a little bit. Used one card 4 times and another card once.
3 orders are researching and 2 are being processed.
No calls or anything as of yet.

in store wont even work on stamps.
online they are cracking down. you are welcome to try chances are slim and you will eventually win a spot on there blacklist(not fun..)

my first order i used rewards. so far it shows the order as processing
the ones i did with a diff name shows researching (no reward used

I received a message to call Staples as well, issue is when you order gift cards they want to verify it with the bank that the card is good.
They had a wrong number for the ink card, I gave them the number on the back of the card he called chase and verified with them that the account is good and released the order.
