Old laptop is windows 8.1 just like the new one.
I've changed the network name, can still logon with my old laptop but not the new one.
Try downloading an updated driver from the manufacturer and if that doesn't fix it it's probably a hardware issue
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

You can try the bios update if that doesn't work uninstall all the wireless drivers and try to reinstall the new one instead of installing it on top of the old one

In windows 8, right click on the network you are trying to connect to, and click forget network. then try again to connect to it

I mistakenly printed something to a printer that doesn't exist, and I can't print it again (it's coupons from a website that only lets you print once). I can see the document in the print queue. Is there a way to move it to the queue for another printer?

PS: Windows 7

Thanks!

Thanks! I used that to get it to print to PDF instead.
Do i have to do anything to undo the change I made, for future printing?

I am on a network and when I try to access a company file sometimes it asks me for credentials (and says that it's wrong) and sometimes it just works! Anyone have an idea what's going on?

PEBKAC ?
Why? I know the password? I know how the network works?

I should really add the when it is working it doesn't ask me for the password at all it just works (I can see the files)

Why??
It would depend on how the website was coded, I've never done it but the way I would try to code it I imagine it would work.

It renders only on IE or it looks at the user agent, if yes you can spoof it from dev tools

It's an in house system built 12 years ago and was made for ie.
You can see landing page on every browser and login, but no buttons are click able unless it's ie or ie extension on chrome.
Something to do with active x.
